Mary Lou taught me to sing over 25 years ago and it was the making of me. Singing is not just about technique and skills, doing the grades and so forth it is also about gaining confidence and, quite literally, finding your voice. Learning to sing enabled me to develop myself in ways that school and other activities could not. I am now a University lecturer and travel all over the world for work. The skills I gained when learning to sing are used everyday in lecture halls and in utilising my voice. Best of all - I still sing! Mary Lou is a fabulous teacher and if you want to really learn to sing, she's the woman you need.
